Hey guys, I’ve been down with the swine flu for the past week or so… Are you even ready? I thought that was supposed to be all made by the media!

Well, I’m finally able to get back to work so regular updates should be back on schedule for this week.

Looks like X-Tube has crippled all the existing embed codes for all of their videos. This means that all of the videos on YouLoveGayPorn before October 16th do not play from our pages. We are working to update the codes for all these videos but it’s a massive job and it’s going to take some time…

For now, just hit the “LINK TO VIDEO” link that appears directly below the embedded video window to watch the video on X-Tube. We’ll have everything back to normal ASAP.

Looks like X-Tube is being all fucky again.

Anything that loads from pc5.xtube.com or pc6.xtube.com seems to be returning their standard “file removed” video that they play any time there’s any error. My theory is that X-Tube shuts off embeds when they’re working on their servers and forces all movies to return this standard error message.

Until they get their shit together use the links marked “LINK” to view the videos directly on X-Tube.

All XTube videos that originate from pc6.xtube.com are currently broken. The server sends out “notfound.flv” instead of the video you’re expecting to see. This is a problem across the net and not limited to this site.

The videos are still online at XTube - click the link located beneath the video to watch it on XTube.

While you’re there, you might want to contact support@xtube.com and let them know that all off site embedded videos originating from pc6.xtube.com are broken.

Every embedded X-Tube video on the net is broken. This is an X-Tube specific problem and it’s not limited to this site.

Any time the embedded player makes a request to play a video the server returns an forbidden message instead of the video file. This means the X-Tube servers are currently set up to disallow embedded videos from being viewed. Let’s hope this is a temporary situation - it’s been like this for going on 5 days at this point…

To be honest, it seems that every time X-Tube is doing work on their servers the embedded videos go offline with some type of similar error. It’s possible this is just a temporary measure to help them manage bandwidth while they’re doing whatever it is they’re doing. All attempts to contact X-Tube on this issue have been unanswered so I can’t say…

In the meantime, keep clicking the links to watch the videos on X-Tube directly. While there, why not drop them an email at “support@xtube.com” to let them know that net wide every embedded video from their site is offline. Maybe en-masse we can get an answer!

Looks like X-Tube is having issues again today… The flash player they use for embedding videos is showing up as “file not found” on several of their servers. I’m trying to work around the problem but my experience with them so far is that these kinds of problems just come and go without notice. What’s working today might not work tomorrow. Similarly, the videos that don’t work today may just start working 10 minutes from now… Oh, the internet!

There’s nothing I can do about this and really just have to wait until X-Tube recognizes the problem and fixes it.

Sorry guys, but I’m on the road again so the posts will be few and far between nonexistant. I’m attending the Phoenix Forum in lovely downtown Tempe Arizona (GO SUN DEVILS!) and won’t be able to do much until I get back.

Look guys, XTube seems to be all buggered up as of late. Embedded videos work one minute and then stop working the next. There’s nothing I can do but wait until they get their act together.
