I don’t know what the heck is going on over there but the embedded videos now work in IE and Firefox. You’ll need to clear your cache and delete all offline content to ensure you have the most recent version of the embedded player on the page.

Safari is still a bit of an issue as the video files continue to show up as “forbidden”. In my experience, Safari has some real problems with getting new versions of cached files to display. Especially in situations like this when a file calls multiple hidden files from another server. This may or may not be the case here but it’s hard to tell without some kind of feedback from X-Tube.

Until this is corrected, I suggest Mac users use Firefox as your browser of choice… Turns out it’s a pretty great browser anyway!

Every embedded X-Tube video on the net is broken. This is an X-Tube specific problem and it’s not limited to this site.

Any time the embedded player makes a request to play a video the server returns an forbidden message instead of the video file. This means the X-Tube servers are currently set up to disallow embedded videos from being viewed. Let’s hope this is a temporary situation - it’s been like this for going on 5 days at this point…

To be honest, it seems that every time X-Tube is doing work on their servers the embedded videos go offline with some type of similar error. It’s possible this is just a temporary measure to help them manage bandwidth while they’re doing whatever it is they’re doing. All attempts to contact X-Tube on this issue have been unanswered so I can’t say…

In the meantime, keep clicking the links to watch the videos on X-Tube directly. While there, why not drop them an email at “support@xtube.com” to let them know that net wide every embedded video from their site is offline. Maybe en-masse we can get an answer!

Well, one look around YouLoveGayPorn.com and you’ll realize that as of today none of the embeded videos are working. This problem is the result of faulty code inside the X-Tube flash video player that calls a component from the wrong location.

I’ve contacted X-Tube on this issue numerous times but they simply don’t respond. Any site that uses X-Tube embedded video is affected and there’s nothing any of us can do but wait it out.

While this is happening don’t post comments saying the vids don’t work - I KNOW! Just click the “LINK” that appears directly below where the video would appear and watch the video directly on X-Tube.

Looks like X-Tube is having issues again today… The flash player they use for embedding videos is showing up as “file not found” on several of their servers. I’m trying to work around the problem but my experience with them so far is that these kinds of problems just come and go without notice. What’s working today might not work tomorrow. Similarly, the videos that don’t work today may just start working 10 minutes from now… Oh, the internet!

There’s nothing I can do about this and really just have to wait until X-Tube recognizes the problem and fixes it.
